How do I develop my own Inventory Asset Management System?

There are 3 components to such an application. The tracking , the barcode scanner and the or preprinted labels.

Software:
We carry an Access-based Inventory management software package called . Based in Access, it provides a complete solution for inventory or asset management. Information along with a downloadable demo is available by clicking on .

Scanners either Portable or Connected to you PC or workstation:
We carry both portable and handheld scanners. Portable scanners allow you to collect the scanned information remotely and then bring it back to the PC and download it into your application. Handheld scanners are connected to your PC and interact with your software directly. A complete list of scanners including both portable and handheld are available here.

The Falcon or PT2000 portable scanners work with the or any of the handheld scanners with a keyboard interface will also work with the Intellitrack software packages.

Printer and Labels:
Depending upon the requirements of you label such as: scratch resistance, resistance to environmental conditions, what the label is to be adhered to, etc., you may want to consider either preprinted labels or labels printed with a . The size of the printer is determined by the number of labels on average you will be printing in a day and the speed you require from the printer along with the label size.

We can also provide preprinted labels if you environment demands an extremely ruggedness. These are provided by the roll and have predetermined barcode and other information on the label.
