The Opticon LPN-1736 laser scanner is among the smallest omni scanners available anywhere.

Its compact size requires only 3" by 3" of valuable work surface space. Despite this compact size, it provides full size performance.

1000 scans per second with a 20-line scan pattern provide aggressive scanning without orientation of the bar code symbol.

"Hands free" scanning means both hands are free to the handle items with bar codes. There is no need to pick up the scanner to scan items. However, the small size and extremely lightweight (less than 7.2 ounces) means the OPM-1736 is not too large or heavy to handle.

Available in popular interfaces: USB, Keyboard Wedge or RS232.
