PowerScan/ Setting a New Standard The PowerScan family of handheld laser bar code scanners has been specifically designed from the ground up to meet the demands of industrial users. With a PSC PowerScan scanner on the job, you'll have one of the toughest, most reliable tools around.You can rely on the PowerScan SR scanner for fast, accurate bar code reading, from up close to over 60 inches away. Even labels previously thought to be unreadable can now be read using PSC's superior decoding software, QuadraLogic II. The scanner will autodiscriminate all standard bar code symbologies and automatically adjusts to read a wide range of code densities. The PowerScan LR and XLR scanners have been specifically designed meet the demands of tough industrial applications especially where some labels are scanned up close and others at great distances. The PowerScan LR will read a 10 mil label as close as 7 inches and a 100 mil reflective label 22ft away. With the XLR model you can read 20 mil labels as close as 28 inches and 100 mil reflective labels as far away as a whopping 36ft. Dependable In The Harshest Conditions Even in the harshest working environments, you can depend on the PowerScan to keep on working. Designed to meet the most stringent drop specification in the industry, the scanner will withstand multiple 6.5ft drops to concrete. The PowerScan scanner has a sealing rating of IP54 which means it can withstand intermittent rain showers and keep on working.
